The Rolling Stones summer tour dates

Rock & roll supergroup Rolling Stones have announced details of a summer European tour. Former Beatle to release new album this summer

Former Beatle Paul McCartney has announced a new album release this summer. The release will be his 22nd so far and a follow-up to his 2006 classical music album Ecce Cor Meum ("Behold My Heart" in Latin). The artist will break the ice for the new Hear Music label, a joint effort between coffee chain Starbucks and Concord Music Group.This move comes after splitting with his long time record company Capitol. McCartney has worked with Capitol since his days with the Beatles 43 years ago.The album is to be released this summer, and will be available at international Starbucks locations as well as traditional music retail outlets.

Green Day to release John Lennon classic tune

American group Green Day plan to cover John Lennon's classic track 'Working Class Hero' as part of the tribute album Instant Karma.The earnings from the album will go to Amnesty International's campaign to end genocide in the Darfur region. The campaign was produced under the approval of Yoko Ono.Instant Karma will feature a lineup of artists such as REM (#9 Dream), Willie Nelson (Imagine), Christina Aguilera (Mother), Black Eyed Peas (Power To The People), The Cure (Love) and Regina Spektor (Real Love). The album is about to be released in June.

Gibson to release Page's EDS replicas

The Gibson EDS 1275 is the guitar made famous by the Led Zeppelin star Jimmy Page. The double neck that the iconic guitarist used in concerts is going to be manufactured again after more than 30 years.Gibson in collaboration with Jimmy Page are to release a limited edition of 25 replicas of his original Gibson EDS 1275. The guitars will feature Jimy Page's signature on the back of the headstock along with a Led Zeppelin DVD box set.The legendary guitarist played classics like Starway to Heaven or Rain Song on his EDS 1275.The replicas will be available starting from 18th of March at a price of 33.500 $.Another 250 vintage Original Spec Signature Double Necks are also being made available which will not feature the signature of the guitarist on the headstock, and would cost between 10.000 $ and 12.000 $.

Tour dates available for Genesis reunion

Genesis will hit the road as the classic three-piece line-up this summer for the first time tour since 1991. The legendary group band will go on a sold-out European tour before the North American dates. The long awaited reunion will begin with a 20-stadium tour of Europe, followed by a series of 20 dates in September in the US.Rutherford and Banks are founding members of the band, which formed in 1967. Collins joined in 1970.
