Who wants to date a Legend?
Soul sensation JOHN LEGEND would consider dating one of his female fans - but only if she didn't idolise him.
The 26-year-old, who has just been nominated for eight Grammy Awards, reveals he's "young, free and single" and looking for love.
Legend, who admits he has struggled to hold down a long-lasting relationship, would only take a fan as a lover if she was successful in her own career and wasn't in awe of him.
"My longest relationship was seven months. It is partly because of the business and partly because of my personality. I'm picky and I like to move around. The fact I'm a touring musician is perfect for me because I get bored easily."
He says, "Hopefully, anyone I date likes my music, so yeah, I would date a fan.
"But there has to be an equity between us. They need to be successful in their own field and confident and they can't look up to me too much.
