To get the full, almost 12 string sound that the Eagles get on this
song, I used what is called a "Nashville or High Strung" tuned guitar.
The Low E A D and G strings are tuned an octave higher.  I use the 
following guages to do this:

Starting at the Low E
E = .035
A = .026
D = .017
G = .016
B = .013
E = .012
